André Rieu is a Dutch violinist virtuoso and conductor of the Johann Strauss Orchestra. He was born in Maastricht, Holland in 1950. To overcome shyness onstage during his early career, and to remove the emotional distance between himself and his audience, he adopted theexample of Johann Strauss, who would create a festive atmosphere at his performances and encourage his audiences to enjoy the music bygetting out of their seats and waltzing in the aisles. This was well received, and Rieu assembled a group of local Dutch musicians,creating the Johann Strauss Orchestra.

“Rieu's live concerts attract a spectrum of fans, typically ranging inage from 16 to 65 years old. Members of the audience can be seen inany manner of attire, from formal black tie, to T-shirt and tennisshoes. Rieu himself dresses in tails and wears his hair long. Authentic, delightful, reasonably priced... I LOVE this place.

Although the location is creepy... but seriously,

once you have their food you will know

why you're goanna return :) Hands down!

Can't believe I am the first yelper to this amazing place!!

if you love meat and great value drop what you are doing and

head out to this corner of Argentina in Van Nuys.

Don't be scared and go past the market portion

of the space and get a table. Lala's is a great runner up

for Argentine food but the vibe and decor of

Lala's is great and easy where Mercado buenos aires

is the best place for the food period!

Try the empanadas, besides the customary chimichuri

to dip in your bread (and put on all your meats) they also give

you a olive oil based dipping sauce with tomatoes

that is outs of this world, but the real star is the meats,

try the mixed grill for 2-4 people, the fillet mignon is killer

and my favorite is the skirt steak finish this all off with

the dulce de leche and a double espresso.

If they made the place like a real restaurant,

we would have to pay more and all that....

I'd rather keep this place the way it is- original to the way

people eat and hang out in Latin countries.
